If you need someone to talk

  • Mental health first aid: https://www.uni-jena.de/en/mhfa
  • Psycho-social counselling is available free of charge to all those students and enrolled doctoral researchers at Thuringia's universities, who feel the need to talk to a neutral person about themselves, their situation and their problems and to receive further support. The counselling is also offered in English.
  • Individual doctorate counselling for all questions concerning the start, financing and course of the doctorate

  • If you need to resolve a conflict, also involving Kevin, you can contact the Graduate Academy's Ombudsman Office

    The Graduate Academy's Ombudsman Office is an independent and impartial advisory and mediation body. The ombudspersons are appointed by the Senate. It is their task to arbitrate serious conflicts between doctoral researchers and their supervisors or to mediate between the parties involved. In addition, the ombudspersons are responsible for arbitrating and mediating in severe conflicts between postdocs and their supervisors, as long as the conflicts arise from the supervisory relationship and the work on further academic qualification (e.g. habilitation or habilitation-equivalent achievements).
